** About the Role
**** Central Queensland Radiology (CQR)
** is seeking a
** Chief Medical Imaging Technologist** (Radiographer or Sonographer) ready to step into a significant leadership  this pivotal role, you’ll support our
** fully comprehensive private clinic**—featuring a busy MRI service—and our clinic located within the
** Gladstone Public Hospital Medical Imaging Department**, servicing the Gladstone/Banana and Biloela community across a 200km region.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will ensure the smooth, efficient operation of our Gladstone imaging services. This position offers a balance of
** clinical and non-clinical responsibilities**, with dedicated time allocated to manage operational priorities.

We’re looking for someone who is self-managed, team-focused, and passionate about high-quality care—someone who leads by example through strong clinical skills and excellent communication.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Maintain a high-quality, efficient medical imaging service for patients and referrers
* Coordinate and supervise radiography and sonography teams
* Develop and maintain clinical rosters
* Ensure safe and effective use of imaging equipment, escalating issues as needed
* Work collaboratively with Radiologists, modality supervisors, and staff
* Provide outstanding customer service and oversee daily operational management

*** 3+ years of clinical Radiography and/or Sonography experience
* Current
** AHPRA
* * or
** ASAR
* * registration* Strong clinical knowledge and professional competency
* Demonstrated leadership capability and excellent interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with a broad range of imaging equipment
