About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Trade Assistant to join our maintenance team working across our Gladstone-based projects. This hands‑on role supports our Diesel Fitters with the maintenance of our company-owned fleet of mobile plant.
For the right candidate, the position also offers a potential pathway into a Diesel Fitting Apprenticeship.
- Rust repairs, surface preparation and industrial painting
- Washing and preparing mobile plant before and after scheduled services and repairs
- Operating the IT with tyre grab to support tyre handling
- Assisting tradespeople with a variety of maintenance tasks
- General housekeeping duties in the workshop and yard
- Previous industrial experience (preferably with mobile plant or heavy industry)
- RII:
Integrated Tool Carrier - HRW:
Dogger/Rigger - Panel beating or basic welding
- Earthmoving tyre fitting experience
