Garage Door Installer​/Service Technician

Hourly

Location: Portland, OR

Wage Scale: $20.00 + an hour and/or piece rate

Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

• Installing garage doors and openers in accordance with company and manufacturers standards.
• Service all types of overhead doors and parts in accordance with company and manufacturers standards.
• Accurately account for material and time used on each job.
• Assuring that all materials necessary for the job are loaded onto the truck.
• Drive to and from the job site.
• Load and unload garage door materials at site.
• Check work for errors and correct them if/when necessary.
• Professionally communicate with customers, homeowners, and builders.
• Maintain company vehicles and all company-provided tools.
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 1 year experience installing or servicing garage doors.
• Previous construction, general laborer or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Valid OR Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift more than 80lbs.
• Regular attendance is required.
