Dietary Cook – Clear View Healthcare Management

Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team! In alignment with our mission, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life and overall well-being of our residents through exceptional service and nutritious meals. Our Dietary Cook plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality food service in a cheerful, timely, and resident‑centered manner. We foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and collaboration to ensure shared goals are met and every resident feels cared for and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with resident dietary needs, physician orders, and nutritional guidelines.
  • Ensure food quality, proper portioning, and timely meal service.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and place supply orders as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and work environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to dietary assistants as assigned.
  • Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience cooking in a healthcare or long‑term care setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dietary needs and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
