Job SummaryUnder the supervision of licensed nursing staff, CMTs play a vital role in administering medications, assisting with treatments, and supporting daily living activities for individuals in our long-term care facility.

Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Accurately prepare, administer, and chart medications and treatments within your scope of practice.
- Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Provide basic first aid and assist with medical treatments under supervision.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions, including skin breakdowns.
- Support personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility, positioning, and transport (including use of mechanical lifts).
- Collect and label specimens for lab testing.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, training programs, and emergency drills.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens and handling soiled materials.
- Complete documentation of resident intake/output and other required records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
Work Schedule:
Available Schedules Include:
- 3 pm - 11 pm (5 days a week) plus every other weekend
- 3 pm - 4 am (3 days a week) plus every other weekend
- 11 pm - 7 am (5 days a week) plus every other weekend
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification from a state-approved program.
- Completion of an approved CMT training program.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
- BLS certification preferred.
- Market competitive pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour depending on experience plus shift differential for weekend shifts.
