Luttrell Staffing Group is recruiting Production | Seasoning/ Mix Specialist positions for our partner, T.Marzetti, in Horse Cave, KY
Perks & Benefits$15 / Hour4am-4pm Weekly Pay Full-Time | Temp-to-hire
Duties for Quality Production | Seasoning/ Mix Specialist position- Operates HMI’s (computer panel controls) to regulate and control bulk ingredients and pumping flows
- Weighs ingredients for mixing process
- Records all information as required
- Rolls or pushes ingredient drums and pallets to weigh and prepare for each batch according to schedule and specifications
- Reads scales and performs arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately
- Maintains standard production quantities/rates for each product
- Cleans and rinses equipment according to specified procedures
- Monitors equipment to detect malfunctions; makes minor adjustments/repairs; communicates mechanical problems to maintenance
- Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hoppers or other feeding devices
- Coordinates information and equipment with prior and next shifts
- Leads and other dept
- Fills in for and assists other departments when necessary
- Regular Attendance is required in accordance with Company attendance policy and procedures
- Performs other duties/responsibilities as assigned by Lead and Management
- Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Make and record observations and efficiently organize work tasks and time
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- Previous quality assurance experience (in food manufacturing preferred)
- General Microsoft skills
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp
- Exposed to heat, fumes, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors, moving parts/equipment and non-toxic industrial waste and scrap
- Wear PPE equipment and follow OSHA and company guidelines
