Summary

Sales Associate at Hibbett – responsible for assisting store management in providing quality customer service, promoting merchandise, and maintaining store operations. The role requires knowledge of all product areas and commitment to company policies as outlined in the visual, operations, personnel, and customer service manuals. The Sales Associate acts as an ambassador for Hibbett I City Gear, delivering a unique customer experience to acquire and retain long‑term customers.

• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers as they enter the store and during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise per company guidelines.
• Set and track personal sales goals, consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Adhere to all Hibbett I City Gear policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist with daily store operations, including completing work lists, cleanup tasks, weekly shipments, and maintenance.
• Use in‑store merchandising techniques based on product knowledge manual.
• Identify and communicate merchandise, pricing, and operational needs to management.
• Attend all staff meetings and technical training sessions.
• Protect company assets by ensuring internal control procedures are accurate and raising potential fraud risks.

• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with initiative to undertake tasks proactively.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
