Accounts Assistant

JOB TITLE Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger - Maternity Cover Bloc Blinds is a leading designer and UK manufacturer of simple, clever and innovative window blinds selling online, and in selected stores, to a global market. From a state of the art manufacturing facility in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, we have a team of locally based dedicated professionals who create precision-cut, made-to-measure blinds quickly and efficiently for customers around the world.

Bloc Blinds are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic finance team for Maternity Cover. What well ask of you:
Process AR invoices and maintenance of all aspects of the sales ledger. Credit control duties to include all communication with customers. Process payment receipts and ensure accurate allocation on the ledger. Liaise with the sales and customer service teams. Bank Reconciliations. Assist in the month-end closing process. Prepare monthly reports and commentary on accounts receivable. Assist with the statutory audit as required.

Ad hoc duties as required to support the business What we are looking for:
Essential Minimum 18 months experience in a finance role (to include sales ledger) Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Desirable:
