Glasgow (Hybrid Working) | Full-Time | Accountancy Practice

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Glasgow is seeking an Audit & Accounts Professional to join its collaborative and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified, qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant looking to develop within a firm that genuinely values career progression, flexibility and long-term growth.

Working across both audit and accounts assignments, you will support Managers and Partners in delivering high-quality service to a varied client portfolio.

• Assisting in the planning and completion of audit assignments
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Drafting corporation tax computations
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT queries where required
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and gather information
• Managing deadlines and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

• AAT qualified, ACA / ACCA part-qualified, fully qualified or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice in the UK
• Strong understanding of audit processes and UK GAAP
• Experience preparing statutory accounts
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, IRIS, CCH or similar)
• Must have full UK work rights (no sponsorship available)
