Business Services Senior

Location:

Glasgow

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000

Responsibilities
  • Preparing draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for review by a Business Services Assistant Manager or Manager.
  • Preparing draft business tax computations for review.
  • Producing VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments and management accounts for a diverse client base.
  • Assisting with the filing of statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
  • Identifying and raising technical or client queries with the Business Services Assistant Manager or Manager.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while delivering a high standard of service.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • AAT, ICAS, ACCA or ACA qualification, or be qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice in a Business Services or Accounts role.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented attitude.
  • A genuine desire to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive team.
