Trainee Accountant

A career-enhancingopportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join this established and reputable firm of Chartered Accountants and Advisers in Glasgow city centre. This role would suit an accounts assistant or bookkeeperwho has around 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice and now seeking to pursue ACCA qualification.

The firm have a demonstrable history of supporting team members throughout professional qualification and beyond. Joining an established team of trainee and qualified accountants, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio of clients. Responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping duties
• Preparing VAT returns
• Preparing management accounts and reporting
• Supporting with the preparation of year end accounts for sole traders, Partnerships and small limited companies
• Providing support to clients using cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Sage Cloud, Xero, Quickbooks)
