Position Statement
The Interim Senior Analyst for Revenue Accounting will coordinate and deliver day‑to‑day processes that ensure smooth running of the Revenue Accounting function within Hilton’s UK Centre of Excellence, focusing on credit card accounting. The analyst works with the Credit Card Team Leader to support the delivery of the function strategy and goals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for approximately 45 hotels.

Under the guidance of the Credit Card Team Leader Revenue Accounting, the role delivers Revenue Accounting processes on agreed timetables and Service Level Agreements. The analyst must provide a seamless, efficient, customer‑focused experience while driving process efficiencies. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.
Role Activities- Carry out and coordinate all required tasks in accordance with management guidance.
- Complete financial tasks such as daily credit‑card balancing, posting adjustments and journals, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Manage Excel templates and enforce controls to validate completeness and accuracy of formulas.
- Review high volumes of data using advanced Excel models and automated matching systems.
- Support project initiatives and evaluate current processes, implementing actions for efficiency.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Monitor own progress, resolve open items, and take corrective action.
- Provide guidance and support to the business on best practice.
- Escalate queries to Hotels and manage resolution.
- Build collaboration with Hotel and Front Office teams on posting/process issues.
- Ensure tasks comply with company policies and controls.
- Prepare and issue timely reports to Hotels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support the Centre of Excellence in delivering business objectives.
- Engage in other tasks assigned by management.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong coaching and feedback skills.
- Prioritise multiple demands under pressure.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas and macros.
- Proficiency with multiple systems and ability to train others.
- Sound judgement and analytical decision‑making skills.
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
- Preferred:
Shared Service Centre or Centre of Excellence experience; hospitality industry experience.
- High School/GED (required). BA/BS or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven accounting/finance track record.
- Travel may be required occasionally.
- Supervisory experience (preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification in progress (ACCA, CIMA) (preferred).
