Senior Auditor

We're recruiting an ambitious Audit Senior to join a growing External Audit team in Glasgow.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients across corporate, charities, education, housing associations and owner-managed businesses, you'll take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.

As an Audit Senior, you will:

• Lead external audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements.
• Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors.
• Build trusted relationships with clients across a broad range of sectors.
• Attend client meetings and contribute to delivering high-quality audit services.
• Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and firm methodologies.
• Support the development of trainees and junior members of the team.

We're looking for someone who has:

• ACA, CA or ACCA qualification.
• Around 4-6 years' audit experience, including post-qualified experience.
• Experience leading audit engagements and reviewing junior staff.
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised and client-focused approach.
