Accounts Senior

An established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is looking to recruit multiple Accounts Seniors to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment while working with a diverse range of clients. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services, managing client assignments and supporting senior team members across a varied portfolio.

The Role Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Assist with the preparation of corporation tax computations and related compliance work. Complete VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments and management accounts. Support the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to clients. Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax-related documents. Review client records, identify missing information and raise queries where appropriate.

Communicate with clients to obtain information and provide updates throughout assignments. Work closely with Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure assignments are completed efficiently. Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality and compliance across all client work. Contribute positively to team development and continuous improvement initiatives. About You AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience. Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.

Strong experience preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients. Good understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and general accounting processes. Confident managing deadlines and prioritising multiple assignments. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build professional client relationships. A proactive approach with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. A team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute to a positive working environment.
