Known for delivering high-quality audit, accountancy, and advisory services, the firm is committed to building long-term relationships with clients across a wide range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their dynamic and supportive team.
Your new role
As an Audit Senior, you will take a leading role in managing audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, supervising junior staff, and ensuring audits are delivered to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading audits for a varied portfolio of clients
Preparing audit files and financial statements in line with UK GAAPLiaising with clients and partners to ensure expectations are met Reviewing and mentoring junior team members
Providing insights and recommendations to add value to client operations
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:
A professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Demonstrable experience in a similar audit role within a UK accountancy firm Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive and organised approach to managing multiple assignments
