Part-time Bookkeeper

P&L Recruitment are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a growing Accountancy Firm based in South Lanarkshire, to recruit a Bookkeeper on a part-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience working within an Accountancy Practice. This is a varied role which can offer progression in a small friendly team. The part-time hours will depend on the candidate's requirement and can be 3 days or approximately 21-24 hours.

Hybrid working can also be offered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managing own set of clients in preparing working papers, financial statements
• Bookkeeping duties
• Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts.
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
• Using a wide range of software such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, Taxcalc and Engager
• Assisting the Accountant

Requirements:

• Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
• Ideally have worked within an Accountancy Practice
• Ideally have experience with Sage, Xero and Quick Books
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

My client offers a salary of 30 - 35K PRO RATA DOE plus benefits as well as being part of a great team environment!
