Our client, a leading mid tier CA Firm continues to evolve and grow, assisting a wide variety of SME clients across a range of industries. Given this, our client seeks an ambitious, forward-thinking Accounts Senior to join their team at this exciting time.

The ideal Senior Accounts Assistant will have current or recent UK Accountancy CA Firm background with experience of Xero and other IT Accounts & Cloud packages with a forward-thinking approach towards problem solving.

Key responsibilities as Accounts Senior will include:

Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients

Review and submission of VAT returns

Preparation of statutory financial statements

Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns

Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training.

Liaising with clients to meet targets and deadlines also ensuring a high level of client service is delivered.

Identifying issues and taking proactive approach to reaching solutions.

Mentoring the junior members of the team and supporting the managers in achieving department targets.
