Position:
Assistant Accountant
Duration: 6 months
Location:
Outskirts of Glasgow
Salary: £40,000 p.a. or day rate equivalent
Rutherford Cross is pleased to be supporting a business based on the outskirts of Glasgow with the appointment of an Assistant Accountant for an initial 6-month period.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial records remain accurate and up to date
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting external audit requirements and responding to information requests
- Assisting with month-end close processes and other ad hoc finance activities as required
- Providing ad hoc support across the finance function
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Part-Qualified or 'Qualified by Experience' Accountant
- Available at short notice
