Purpose of the Role

Support advisers and paraplanners by managing complex administrative processes and ensuring a high standard of client service. The role suits someone experienced in financial services who enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all stages of client administration, including pensions, investments, and protection.
  • Prepare and process new business, valuations, and client reports.
  • Liaise with advisers, providers, and clients to ensure smooth case progression.
  • Maintain accurate client data on internal systems and meet FCA compliance standards.
  • Prepare meeting packs and support advisers with follow-up actions.
  • Mentor and support junior administrators.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help streamline workflows.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and care.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience with in financial planning, wealth management, or financial services administration.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and financial software (e.g., Intelliflo, Xplan, or similar).
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
  • Progress toward a CII qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience mentoring others or leading small administrative teams.
