As our Ceremonials & Visits Co-ordinator
, you’ll provide the administrative support to make sure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression on our students, staff, and guests. You’ll be at the heart of the action — managing logistics, coordinating teams, and ensuring every detail is perfect.

You’ll:

  • Organise and support graduation ceremonies, honorary degree events, and VIP visits.
  • Coordinate the operational side of graduations, ensuring they run seamlessly.
  • Support the honorary degree process, from nomination to presentation.
  • Plan and deliver ministerial and VIP visits, creating itineraries that showcase the best of Strathclyde.
  • Be the main point of contact for enquiries about ceremonies and visits.

  • Manage our inventory of corporate gifts for senior University staff.

We’re looking for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centred environment. You’ll bring:

  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and stay calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident working with colleagues and high-profile guests alike.
  • A friendly, professional manner and a flexible, can-do attitude.

At Strathclyde, every event tells a story — from celebrating student success to hosting government and industry leaders. You’ll join a supportive, close-knit team that takes pride in delivering outstanding experiences year-round.

If you’re ready to bring your organisational skills, creativity, and enthusiasm to one of Scotland’s leading universities — we’d love to hear from you!
