We are looking for a hard working, caring and positive team member to join our Administration team as a part‑time Medical Administrator. Our Medical Administrators provide a high quality, professional administrative service to patients, doctors, colleagues, health service professionals and all others visitors to the practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice, either in person or on the telephone, and should portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis.
You should ensure that enquiries from patients are handled with care and compassion and with the highest levels of efficiency and courteousness. Previous experience in a GP Practice would be advantageous.
- Greet visitors and patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately with excellent phone etiquette
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area at all times
- Assist with general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and email correspondence
- Support other administrative staff with various office‑related tasks to ensure efficiency
