Role OverviewBusiness Support Assistant within Specialist Children’s Services. Play a vital role in supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Duration, Location, and Working PatternBased at Stobhill Hospital;
Full Time, Permanent;
Working Monday to Friday.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage telephone, email and face‑to‑face enquiries, ensuring a professional and helpful service.
- Arrange patient appointments, clinics and manage diaries using electronic systems.
- Maintain accurate records, input data and update systems in line with procedures.
- Support meetings and events, including preparation of agendas, papers and minutes.
- Process referrals through the single point of access and ensure timely communication with teams.
- Undertake general office duties including mail handling, ordering supplies and stock control.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative or office environment.
- Competence in using a range of IT systems and packages such as Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including keyboard and typing skills.
- Willingness to undertake training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
