Freelance Events Administrator;
Part-Time
Rate: £20-25 per hour, depending on experience.
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (minimum 2 hours initially increasing as we approach our flagship conference, Bio Trinity 2027).
About the Role
BioUK is looking for a proactive, highly organised Freelance Events Administrator to support our events programme from September 2026 to April 2027. This part‑time, fully remote role is ideal for someone with experience in event admin, delegate management or conference operations who enjoys working independently as part of a friendly, small and fast‑paced team. With possible scope to extend beyond April 2027, you will have the opportunity to attend key BioUK events.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing delegate enquiries, registrations and attendee records
- Maintaining CRM data, tracking spreadsheets and reports
- Coordinating sponsor, exhibitor and delegate allocations
- Drafting attendee communications and support partnering meeting scheduling
- Assisting with wider event administration and operational planning across multiple projects
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in event administration, event operations or delegate management
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and written communication skills
- Confidence using spreadsheets, databases and CRM systems
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities remotely
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
Experience with Glue Up or similar event platforms would be a bonus, but full training will be provided.
