Catering Supervisor

The College has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Supervisor to join the Catering Department. This is a hands‑on role integral to ensuring Corpus is a leader in the hospitality sector and provides outstanding service to all members of the College community and external dinner, conference and summer school guests. The successful candidate will deliver a first‑class front‑of‑house service, be professional and commercially aware, and lead a small skilled team.

  • Previous relevant experience in banqueting, restaurants or buffet service.
  • Great organisational and observational skills.
  • Ability to set and exceed customer expectations.
  • Commercially aware with presence and personality to influence the day‑to‑day business.

Development Executive Assistant

The Role The role will suit a motivated individual and will provide executive assistant support to the Director of Development in the planning and delivery of the College’s philanthropic and alumni engagement activity. Operational seniority and experience are required to assure the operational efficiency of the team.

What will you be doing

  • Supporting the day‑to‑day administration of the work of the Development Director.
  • Organising fundraising meetings, sending meeting requests and dealing with the associated correspondence.
  • Ensuring that the RE NXT database is maintained efficiently.
  • Liaising with College staff, committees and the Fellowship including minute taking for committees where the Development Director is Chair.
  • Managing the arrangements for all major donor meetings.
  • Project management for national and international travel.
  • Assist with HR support and DARO recruitment.
  • Assisting with stewardship for donor‑facilitated major awards, bursaries and prizes.
  • Planning and executing timely communications with donors.
  • Office management - dealing with office correspondence, organisation and carrying out general office duties.
  • Maintaining and updating records, files and office spreadsheets in line with department, College and GDPR needs and requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Master’s Executive Assistant and Bursar’s Executive Assistant together with other University and College offices regarding development matters.
  • Providing administrative and logistical support to the Alumni Relations and Events Manager for a range of Development Office and College events.

  • Previous executive assistant experience working in a professional environment.
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines under pressure.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Attention to detail, delivery focused.
  • Strong data preparation and information presentation skills.
