Responsibilities

  • Support the Housing Management team with day-to-day administrative duties.
  • Manage and respond to enquiries received through the Housing Management inbox.
  • Process housing applications, supporting documentation and tenancy references.
  • Assist with the allocations process, including arranging viewings, allocation appointments and settling-in visits.
  • Prepare tenancy sign-up documentation and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Provide administrative support for anti-social behaviour casework, including preparing correspondence and updating case records.
  • Assist with estate inspections and support Housing Officers during tenant visits where required.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities with a high level of accuracy.
  • Confidence dealing professionally with tenants, applicants, contractors and members of the public.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience using housing management systems; knowledge of Home master would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a small, supportive team.

The role

  • Immediate start available.
  • 8-week temporary assignment.
