The RoleTo support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients within a ward environment. The role involves ensuring that patients' health records are administered and processed accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a or a NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS)

- Monday & Friday - Base location
- Glasgow Royal Infirmary
- Provide Health Records support within ward environments.
- Ensure accurate administration and processing of patient health records.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Cover administrative duties across multiple wards when required.
- Receive and assist patients attending the ward.
- Answer telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Book appointments as required.
- Maintain and update patient demographic information on the patient management system.
- Previous clerical and/or reception experience.
- Experience working with the general public in a customer service environment.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good keyboard and IT skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems.
