A specialist commercial finance organisation based in Glasgow City Centre is seeking a motivated graduate or early-career administrator to join their team on a full-time temp-to-perm basis, starting in September. Operating within a professional financial services environment, the organisation provides working capital and funding solutions to businesses across a range of sectors. This opportunity would suit a recent graduate or someone with 6 months to 3 years of administration, customer service, banking, insurance, finance support or office-based experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within financial services.
Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build valuable industry knowledge and gain experience within a growing and fast-paced commercial finance business.
Your new role
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy financial services team. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing inboxes, correspondence and client enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Preparing documents, reports and spreadsheets
- Processing data and ensuring high levels of accuracy
- Supporting client onboarding and administrative processes
- Coordinating meetings and managing diaries
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Providing general office and administrative support
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong previous administration experience is essential
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working within a fast-paced office environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
- Previous experience within financial services, banking, insurance, lending or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous
