We're working with a highly respected organisation looking to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant to support a senior executive. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll become an integral part of the leadership team, providing high-level administrative support, coordinating key business activities and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy executive office.

The Role
As Executive Assistant, you'll provide confidential, proactive and highly organised support to a senior executive, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and business objectives are delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a busy and ever-changing diary, scheduling meetings and coordinating appointments.

• Proactively managing email correspondence, prioritising actions and ensuring deadlines are met.

• Coordinating domestic travel arrangements, accommodation and meeting logistics.

• Organising board, committee and departmental meetings, including room bookings, catering and preparation of meeting packs.

• Taking accurate minutes during meetings and monitoring follow-up actions.

• Maintaining departmental action trackers and ensuring progress against key deadlines.

• Drafting, proofreading and formatting reports, presentations and business documentation.

• Conducting research and preparing briefing papers for projects and meetings.

• Processing expenses and maintaining accurate records.

• Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

• Building strong working relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.

• Providing additional support to the wider Executive Team when required.

• Offering cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave or absence.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Senior Administrator supporting executive-level stakeholders.

• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Experience managing complex diaries and coordinating executive schedules.

• Strong minute-taking and meeting coordination experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• High levels of discretion with experience handling confidential information.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading and document preparation skills.

• Ability to work independently using initiative while remaining a collaborative team member.
