Based in Glasgow or Lanarkshire, with hybrid working arrangements and 2 days a week in the office

A bit about the roleAs an Administrative Officer, you’ll be a valued member of our Business Support team based at the Scotland Head Office in Glasgow. Your work will ensure the Scotland Leadership Team receives high quality, reliable support — enabling them to guide and strengthen over 85 children, young people and family services across Scotland.
This is a varied and purposeful role where you’ll provide a wide range of administrative support to all members of the Scotland Leadership Team and across departments, building strong working relationships with colleagues and external partner agencies. You’ll act as the main contact for Scotland’s contract management process, ensuring all Children’s Services contracts are completed, signed off and returned.
Your responsibilities will also include supporting Operational Directors with diary management, collating and updating records on a monthly or quarterly basis, supporting all aspects of meeting admin including minute taking for operational and HR meetings, maintaining office supplies and services, reception cover, raising purchase orders, and following financial processes for invoice payments.
About the ServiceOur Scotland Head Office provides central support to more than 85 Children’s Services across the country. These services work with children, young people and families in a wide range of settings, offering practical help, emotional support and specialist interventions. The Business Support team plays a crucial role in keeping these services running smoothly by ensuring leaders and practitioners have the information, resources and administrative support they need to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice.
