About the Role:
We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to my Higher Education client based in Glasgow.
This role is an immediate start and is expected to last until the end of this year, hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm working 35 hours per week on site.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for undergraduate students, providing advice and guidance, using own judgement to resolve any issues or escalate where required.
Provide administrative support to the undergraduate programme staff and students, working with minimum supervision, to ensure the smooth running of the undergraduate programme
Liaise with guest lecturers, External Examiners and students involved in Degree programme.
Co-ordinate assessment related activities for the programme, including liaising with External Examiners
Preparing examination papers, and assisting with the preparation of exam board paperwork

Administrative lead responsible for maintaining the relevant aspects of the School website, ensuring visibility of all programmes, courses and scholarships.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience and be confident working in a busy environment where accuracy, organisation and communication are essential.
You will ideally have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
A proactive approach, with the ability to use initiative and work independently.
The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
Experience handling large volumes of administrative data, records and information.
Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
