Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic looking for your next step? Our client — a busy, successful main dealer in Glasgow— is growing and they're on the lookout for a confident, experienced Technician to join their aftersales team. Whether you've been working as a Mechanic, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or within a prestige workshop environment, this role offers genuine progression with routes into Workshop Controller, Assistant Manager and Garage Manager positions.
Salary: up £40,000 - 49,000
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8.15am - 5.30pm (Saturdays 8am-1pm)

- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to the highest manufacturer standards
- Working efficiently to manufacturer‑set timings to maintain productivity
- Completing accurate diagnostic reports and documenting work carried out
- Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
- Communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers
- Ensuring customer satisfaction stays front and centre
- Supporting and mentoring other Technicians as required
- Developing towards Assistant Manager responsibilities
- NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' post‑qualification experience in a prestige dealership or similar environment
- Strong technical skills and problem‑solving ability
- Excellent customer service standards
- Able to work independently and take ownership of your output
- Full UK Driving Licence
- High Voltage (EV/Hybrid) trained preferred
- Motivated, target‑driven, and adaptable within a busy workshop
