Role SummaryYou will lead and manage a variety of strategic improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with the pursuit of our Strategic Plans, specifically related to the Transmission part of our business. You will enhance SP Energy Networks as an organisation and our customers' experience by extracting the maximum value from business opportunities presented in the fulfilment of our regulatory obligations through RIIO-ED2 and RIIO-T3 price control periods.
Responsibilities- Drive strategic change in the organisation to achieve SPEN strategic goals
- Lead assigned projects to successful delivery and achievement of benefits
- Build relationships and manage stakeholders throughout the organisation
- Lead and coach continuous improvement to improve business results
- Champion innovation & look for opportunities to improve business performance
- Facilitate and role‑model change supporting strategic business goals
- Operate with agility to adapt to changing situations & business demands quickly
- Lead people side of change using Prosci Change Management framework
- Identify, establish and monitor performance measures to validate success
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain support and buy‑in
- Develop business cases and identify key performance tracking metrics
- Prior accreditation or willingness to work towards certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Prosci Change Practitioner, Agile Scrum Master
- Knowledge of the energy sector
- Proven ability to implement change in a complex multi‑national organisation
- Able to set stretch goals & deadlines aligned with business and customer priorities
- Able to empower and encourage development of individuals and project teams
