Elusav Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an OFCI Lead on a Data Centre Construction Project in Helsinki. The OFCI Lead/Manager will be responsible for technical review of the clients procured equipment and integration within the overall building design. The OFCI Lead acts as the bridge between the client, vendors, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:- Leads vendor weekly meetings to track progress on equipment manufacture & inspection prior to delivery. Informs senior management of any potential ROJ impact items.
- Establish clear communication channels with vendors, including designated points of contact.
- Regularly communicate project requirements, expectations, and updates to vendors promptly and concisely.
- Facilitate open and transparent communication to promptly address any concerns, issues, or changes in requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure adherence to service level agreements and quality standards off-site and during relevant on-site activity periods.
- Establish a strong relationship with vendors based on trust, mutual understanding, and collaboration.
- Resolve conflicts with vendors promptly and effectively to maintain productive partnerships.
- Communicate a detailed project schedule outlining tasks, dependencies, and deadlines to the vendor. Use project management tools to visualise the timeline and ensure clarity.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews with the vendor project management team to assess progress, identify deviations, and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure all schedule updates and changes are communicated clearly and promptly to all relevant parties to avoid misunderstandings and keep all stakeholders aligned.
- Arrange FWT with Vendor, Client & Company representatives.
- Coordinate equipment delivery & installation with all stakeholders.
- Ensure Cx protocol is followed through all stages.
- Document and track all vendor communication for future reference and accountability
- Equipment & Material Control / Vendor / Supply Chain experience in an Engineering, Procurement and/or Construction environment preferred.
- Experience with Vendor management, FWT & Cx Processes.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
