Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Hire Controller to join the team of a national company that supplies equipment to the construction industry.
Company - National Plant Hire Company
Job Title - Hire Controller
Location - Glasgow
Salary - up to £32K / annum + 7.5% bonus
Benefits include: annual bonus, excellent pension, private medical insurance, health shield programme
Holidays - 25 days + Bank Holidays
- First point of contact for customer enquiries
- Responsible for receiving orders and collections of equipment
- Calculating and supplying quotes
- Planning transport for deliveries and collections
- Proactively work jointly with all departments
- Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
- Full training on product range will be given
- Able to prioritise and deal with issues in a timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Has the capacity to work autonomously and to prioritise their workload to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft packages
- Has strong business awareness and attention detail in every aspect of their work
