Public Services Delivery Scotland
. This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.

Location:

Work Pattern: Permanent, Full Time, 36 hours per week.

Who We Are

PSD Scotland unites expertise from NES and NSS in a way that will allow us to accelerate national programmes to support the NHS to deliver better care, now and in the future.

We support staff with education and training, provide the tools and data that improve services, and run vital national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.

The Dental Directorate is responsible for the delivery of high‑quality education and training across a diverse range of training programmes, including the management, funding and provision of postgraduate education for dentists and dental care professionals (DCPs).

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to join our highly talented team. Working within the team you will support delivery of the BS for training work streams as well as supporting the People and Culture directorate during periods of recruitment and onboarding.

We are looking for an individual with working experience gained in face‑to‑face customer service and ideally in office‑based administrative support roles.

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting both face‑to‑face and online delivery of education on a weekly basis within GDEC.

As an effective team player, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and digital skills, with a strong focus on flexibility and customer service.

  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
  • Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines
