The Business Analyst - Product Owner role at CGI is a pivotal position that bridges the gap between business strategy and product delivery. To succeed in this role, you should possess extensive experience in business analysis and product ownership within Agile frameworks. Proven ability to deliver value across complex change initiatives is essential, alongside strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Candidates should have demonstrated expertise in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs to maximize ROI. Experience with business process modeling, requirements engineering, and supporting digital transformation projects is highly desirable.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or Business Change Specialist (BCS) will be advantageous. A strategic mindset combined with analytical depth and technical understanding will enable you to effectively drive product success and stakeholder satisfaction.

In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business strategy and product delivery, taking ownership of translating complex requirements into impactful solutions. Your responsibilities include defining and driving the product vision, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals, and managing product backlogs to optimize value and return on investment. You will elicit and document requirements, produce clear user stories, and establish acceptance criteria to guide development teams.

Mapping business processes and identifying opportunities for operational improvements will be a key part of your role. You will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and stakeholder workshops to foster collaboration and transparency. Additionally, you will support testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring solutions meet acceptance criteria and deliver measurable outcomes. Building strong stakeholder relationships, guiding decision-making, and aligning product roadmaps with key performance indicators (KPIs) are essential to your success in this position.
