Job Summary

Award‑winning performance artist Eli Lewis is looking to collaborate with a new Producer. This Producer will collaborate closely with Eli to produce Eli’s creative projects & support Eli’s access. Eli is particularly eager to hear from people with experience of producing dance & or live art projects.

Job Description
  • Time commitment: 1 day per week – scope to move up to 1.5 days per week in line with workload and capacity
  • Working Days:
    Wednesdays & or Fridays
  • Fee: £200 per day
  • Location:

    Remote – some in‑person support when touring or delivering engagement
  • Terms:

    Contract Funding for Role – Confirmed until Oct 2028 via Access to Work

You’ll collaborate as part of a small team to produce Eli’s creative projects. Upcoming projects will include fundraising for an Edinburgh Fringe Festival run, producing a rural tour and applying for commissions for new work.

Responsibilities

Main role responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting Eli’s access
  • Application writing (residencies, grants and commissions)
  • Fundraising (including ACE and private funding)
  • Overseeing communications between partners and team
  • Tour booking and scheduling
  • Budget and cashflow management
  • Partnership building and networking
  • Contracting
  • Evaluation writing
Qualifications

Eli is looking for someone who has a care‑centred, inclusive producing practice, with a commitment to accessibility; has worked with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent people before; has experience producing multi‑faceted dance & or live art projects and tours – from fundraising stage through to evaluation; has experience producing community‑facing performances and engagement activities; is curious, imaginative, detail‑oriented and proactive; is experienced at budget and cashflow management;

and has a proven track record of successful arts funding applications (ACE and other grants & commissions).

Additional Requirements
  • Experience fundraising and/or producing projects for Edinburgh Fringe Festival
  • Experience tour booking and producing rural touring projects
  • Experience producing international tours and residency projects
  • Voices currently underrepresented in the arts, including disabled people, people of colour, LGBTQIA+ people and people who have experienced housing and/or financial uncertainty
