Albyn Housing Society serves an ever-growing number of communities in the Highlands, providing good quality, affordable housing for thousands of people across the region. For over five decades Albyn has listened and responded to the views of its customers, local government, communities and businesses inmeeting housing needs in the Highlands.

The Highlands faces a significant housing challenge, with an estimated 24,000 new homes required overthe next decade to support population and economic growth, including opportunities arising from Green Freeport status. In response, Albyn’s Board took a strategic decision in 2024 to develop over 600 newhomes over the next five years, positioning the organisation to play a leading role in addressing thisdemand.

We are a customer-focused, forward-looking organisation driven by a culture that places our tenants at theheart of decision‑making, supported by a commitment to inclusion, accountability and continuous improvement.

Our teams consistently strive not only to meet, but to exceed, the standards set by the Scottish Housing Regulator, while enhancing the quality and accessibility of services for the nearly 4,000 tenants we lookafter. These are non‑remunerated positions although expenses will be paid. There will be ample opportunities to develop knowledge, experience and personal skills, as well as networking opportunities.
