Embark on a transformative journey as an Incremental CRM – Business Analyst 6 at Barclays, where you will help drive CRM enhancements within a fast‑paced investment banking environment. In this role, you will analyse business processes, evaluate supporting data structures, and recommend improvements, leveraging your experience across deal life cycles, products, and origination‑to‑execution models.
You will use workflow and process modelling techniques with tools such as Visio and PowerPoint, alongside advanced Excel skills (including pivots and macros), to analyse data trends and translate detailed requirements into clear, strategic insights and stakeholder presentations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will lead discussions, facilitate requirements workshops, and manage multiple priorities across business and IT teams with confidence.
This role is based in Glasgow, with a hybrid working model of a minimum of two days per week in the office.
Core Responsibilities- Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
- Develop business requirements that address problems and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to determine viability of proposed solutions.
- Provide progress reports to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Create operational and process designs to ensure delivery within agreed scope.
- Assist change‑management activities, including developing a traceability matrix to ensure implementation and embedding of solutions.
- At least 6 years’ experience in an investment banking environment, with strong skills in analysing business processes, supporting data structures and recommending improvements.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of investment‑banking products, deal lifecycle, origination and execution models.
- Proficiency in workflow modelling techniques using Visio, PowerPoint and advanced Excel (pivots, macros).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead workshops with confidence.
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and mining.
- Familiarity with requirements definition, management lifecycle and tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with requirement prioritisation techniques (MoSCoW, RICE).
- Advise and influence decision‑making, contribute to policy development and operational effectiveness.
- Lead a team on complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees and manage performance and reward outcomes.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop).
- Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, identify new directions and methodologies.
- Provide advice to People Leaders on escalated issues and risk mitigation.
