Join us as a Transaction Monitoring Corporate Training Analyst. In this role, you will join the Training & Capability team, where you will play a key role in educating and upskilling operational colleagues through structured training, coaching, and knowledge transfer initiatives. You will support the development of a strong learning culture, ensuring colleagues have the skills and knowledge required to perform effectively in a controlled, high performance environment.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and learning interventions, working closely with stakeholders across the business to identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted development solutions. The role also involves monitoring the effectiveness of training initiatives, recommending improvements, and ensuring all materials align with organisational standards, governance, and branding.

To be successful as a Transaction Monitoring Corporate Training Analyst, you should have:

  • Corporate Transaction Monitoring experience with a solid understanding of Corporate TM processes, risk indicators, controls and the operational environment within a regulated financial services setting.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering training, coaching and knowledge sharing initiatives to support colleague development.
  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, engaging operational teams effectively while managing expectations and driving learning outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently in a controlled, high performance environment, prioritising workloads, maintaining quality standards and applying risk and control awareness to identify and elevate issues where appropriate.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience conducting training needs analysis, identifying skills gaps and developing targeted learning solutions to improve team capability and performance.
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, working cross-functionally to deliver engaging training sessions, provide constructive feedback and support colleague development.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement and learning strategy initiatives, using insights and training effectiveness measures to enhance learning outcomes.

This role is based in Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

To educate and upskill operational colleagues through training, coaching and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Accountabilities
  • Development of training programmes, workshops and other initiatives to coach and support the knowledge transfer and skill development of the banking operational teams/colleagues.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of training programmes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in learning and development.
  • Execution of training needs assessments and collaborating across the bank to identify gaps in knowledge and skills.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in relation to learning and development.
  • Identifying risk and issues internally within team and ability to elevate appropriately.
  • Maintain Barclays branding, ensuring all materials are reflective of the standards; adhering to Barclays governance, standards and policies.
