Resourcing Business PartnerWe have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and commercially focused Resourcing Business Partner to manage and develop its contingent workforce programme. Although this role is permanent we are also open to consider applications if you are seeking fixed term.
Location – Leeds or would consider other locations within the UK.
This is a highly visible role that combines temporary labour governance, supplier management, workforce planning, recruitment, compliance, and operational insight. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of SIG Roofing's contingent workforce programme whilst supporting the recruitment and retention of permanent Driver and Warehouse colleagues across the UK.
What you will be doing:- Working closely with operational leaders, HR, Fleet, Health & Safety
- You will provide expert guidance on labour market trends, workforce planning, recruitment strategies, compliance, and cost control.
- You will play a key role in reducing agency dependency
- Improving workforce stability
- Driving operational performance through effective supplier management and workforce insight.
- Working directly with agency partners
- Significant experience in recruitment, contingent workforce management or operational resourcing within logistics, transport, distribution, warehousing or merchanting environments.
- Strong knowledge of temporary labour legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing agency suppliers, PSLs and commercial negotiations.
- Proven experience recruiting high-volume operational roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce and labour data.
- Experience producing meaningful management information and workforce reporting.
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
