A leading national property consultancy is expanding its valuation capability in Scotland and is seeking an experienced MRICS Valuation Surveyor to play a key role in delivering and growing its Scottish valuation offering.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal stage of growth, with an established pipeline of secured valuation instructions already in place across Scotland, alongside strong national client relationships generating ongoing work.

The role offers genuine autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape a growing regional valuation presence within a well-established UK platform.

The Opportunity You will take a leading role in the delivery of RICS Red Book-compliant valuations, primarily for:

Loan security / secured lending purposes

Commercial investment and trading assets

Residential and mixed-use property

Development land and development appraisals

Portfolio valuations for institutional and corporate clients

You will work closely with national valuation specialists and multidisciplinary teams across the UK, contributing to a wider pipeline of valuation work while helping strengthen the firm’s Scottish presence.

Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate and compliant Red Book valuations across a broad range of asset types

Act as lead surveyor on loan security and investment valuations

Manage client relationships, particularly with lenders, investors, and corporate clients

Support delivery of portfolio valuation instructions across Scotland and UK-wide clients

Contribute to the growth of the Scottish valuation pipeline through client engagement and reputation building

Ensure high standards of professional compliance, risk management, and reporting quality

Collaborate with national teams and share best practice across regions

About You We are looking for an experienced and confident Registered Valuer who can operate independently and deliver high-quality valuation advice in a client-facing environment.

Essential requirements:

MRICS qualified with RICS Registered Valuer status (essential)
Strong experience in Red Book valuation work, particularly loan security

Background in commercial valuation within consultancy or investment/banking environment

Confident managing instructions independently with minimal supervision

Strong communication and client-facing skills

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

What We Offer Competitive salary: 68,000 – 75,000 basic (DOE)
