As a Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Analyst, you will support Sales, Bids, Planning, Supply Chain and Operations teams by maintaining critical master data, driving effective planning processes, and ensuring the integrity of information used for forecasting, lead times, costing and business decision-making.

Working across multiple locations and legal entities, you will help optimise inventory and operational performance by supporting the SIOP process, improving data quality, and identifying opportunities for process enhancement and automation. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders and adapting effectively to changing priorities. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on operational efficiency, customer delivery and business performance.

This will be a hybrid working role with three days in the office required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide accurate lead time, capacity and cost information to support Sales and Bid teams in the preparation of customer quotations and proposals.
  • Manage and coordinate SIOP forward-planning requests for pipeline opportunities, ensuring requirements are reviewed, recorded, assessed and communicated effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Support the development, implementation and ongoing administration of the monthly SIOP review process, including the preparation and analysis of planning data to support decision-making.
  • Own, maintain and continuously improve the Master Data Baseline Dashboard, ensuring robust master data governance and planning accuracy across the business.
  • Lead the maintenance, cleansing and validation of lead time, cost and planning data, utilising ERP tools and mass upload functionality to improve efficiency and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to conduct routine data audits, resolve data quality issues, and establish effective project data review processes.
  • Identify, develop and implement opportunities to automate planning and data management activities, while maintaining clear process documentation, work instructions and governance standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support informed business decision-making.
  • Confident Microsoft Excel user, with experience using data analysis and reporting tools to drive planning and operational performance.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, master data management and material planning principles within a manufacturing, engineering or supply chain environment.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and implementing more effective ways of working.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and influence colleagues across functions, levels and international locations.
  • Experience working with commercially sensitive information, with an understanding of data security, confidentiality and governance requirements.
  • Experience with Power Automate and an interest in, or exposure to, AI-driven solutions and process automation would be advantageous.

Why join us?

  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with experience (Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to work scheme, Company Pension, etc.)
  • Clear pathways for career development and organisational visibility
  • Inclusive and supportive culture that values individual contributions
  • Meaningful work with impact across safety, innovation, and global operations
