Help Keep Our Hospice Running Smoothly – Join Our Facilities Team

Are you a practical, hands-on individual who takes pride in making a real difference behind the scenes? At our Glasgow Hospice, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team. Our Maintenance Assistants play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for patients, families, visitors and colleagues every day.

What you will be doing:

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. From carrying out essential safety and compliance checks, monitoring plant rooms and oxygen systems, and responding to maintenance issues, to coordinating contractors, supporting hospice operations and working closely with clinical and administrative teams, you'll be at the heart of keeping our hospice running smoothly. You'll also play an important part in supporting sensitive end-of-life processes with professionalism, dignity and respect, ensuring our patients and families receive the highest standard of care and support.

If you're a proactive problem-solver with good practical skills, confidence using computerised systems, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.     Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 3 £ 29,103 to £31,409
