My client is a leading national developer contractor that is in the market for an Assistant Construction Manager to work on a large-scale £180 million build-to-rent apartment scheme. The scheme involves 784 bed PBSA apartments including amenity spaces and public realm works. You will have experience working within high-rise apartment projects, delivering projects of over 20 storeys.

• Manage day‑to‑day site activity and subcontractor performance.
• Support programme development and design coordination.
• Manage risk, reporting structures, and project documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all health and safety on site is always adhered to.
• Organise labour and sub‑contractors on site.

Excellent management skills in running large site teams. A proven track record of delivering projects from inception through completion with experience of managing trades. Highly motivated, organised, able to work following programmes to timescales. Will be happy with working and living away for the project during the working week.

• NVQ Level 4, HND, or Degree in construction, development, or project management.
• CSCS & SMSTS – essential.
