An excellent opportunity is now available for a Civils Quantity Surveyor or Estimator to join a Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor based in Glasgow. They work on a variety of projects from Residential to Industrial that range from size up to £5million. If you have experience working on projects that involve reinforced concrete, drainage, surfacing and groundworks then you will be well suited for this role.
This is an office-based role with some travel to site when required. Great opportunities to progress are also available.
- Prepare and analyse project costing for tenders.
- Prepare bill of quantities and tender/ contract documents.
- Ensure project remains within budget and on track financially.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements.
- Value completed work and arrange payments.
- Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Work closely with Senior employees and management teams.
- Quantity Surveying or Estimating experience in a Civil Engineering environment.
- Salary: DOE
- Company performance based bonus.
