Our Opportunity
Pick Everard is looking to appoint a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team in central Glasgow.
The role involves working on real projects across both the private and public sector, including education, defence, healthcare, custodial, residential, culture & heritage, retail, sports & leisure, and workplace.
Your Core Duties- Supporting the preparation of surveys, designs, reports and contract documents, including drawings.
- General administration of team projects.
- Supporting senior leads with the delivery of projects.
- Managing small / medium sized projects as appropriate.
- Attending meetings and presentations where appropriate.
- Supporting or undertaking on‑site or other survey work.
- Ensuring that you understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.
Early careers programme includes support towards chartership and soft skills needed when entering the workforce. Mentors are available for everyone.
Please note that you must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for this role.
About YouOur ideal Graduate Building Surveyor will have:
- A RICS accredited degree of 2:1 or above in Building Surveying (Expected/Achieved).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
- Able to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks.
- Will demonstrate a desire to learn, a hunger for progression and a conscientious attitude.
- Be committed to continued professional development and are looking to achieve MRICS statutes within 3-4 years.
- Have previous work experience/placement in a Building Surveying role (desirable, not essential).
