Senior Quantity Surveyor – Multiple Opportunities

Glasgow - (Hybrid Working)

Contract/Freelance

We are currently supporting a major engineering and infrastructure programme within a highly regulated environment and are looking to appoint three experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join a growing commercial team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, multi-disciplinary projects across a secure and technically demanding sector, offering long-term stability and career progression.

The Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects. You will be responsible for ensuring robust cost control, risk management, and commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial control across multi-disciplinary projects
  • Drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality and programme requirements
  • Prepare, manage, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations
  • Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and risk analysis
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across project teams, supply chain, and external partners
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, standards, and internal procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, engineering, or complex construction environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in cost management and contract administration
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate effectively within regulated or high-security environments

Important Requirements

  • Must be a UK Sole National
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
