Freelance Site Engineer - Groundworks & Civils
Location:
Glasgow & Ayrshire
Rate: £300 – £350 per day (depending on experience)
Immediate start – ongoing work
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of groundworks packages, ensuring works are carried out accurately and in line with programme.
Typical duties include:
- Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and external works
- Overseeing groundworks and civils operations on site
- Managing QA, including as‑builts and site records
- Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
