Senior Estimator

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a Fit Out / Refurbishment Construction Contractor based in the South of Glasgow. You will be joining an award-winning company who completes all their projects to the highest of standards and has built a strong client portfolio in the process. Project sectors you can expect to find yourself working on include offices, hotels, industrial units, schools, hospitals and more.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for a range of projects.
Work closely with Estimating Manager.
Collaborate closely with further Commercial and Operational teams.
Oversee estimating process from initial enquiry to final submission.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain up to date knowledge of suppliers and market rates.
Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to oversee multiple tenders and deadlines.

Remuneration

Salary: £65-70K
Car Allowance: £5K
Bonus Scheme – 5% of annual salary
